NOTES: [This appears to be primarily the "dawn song" or "Regularly Repeated Vocalization" following BNA and W. J. Smith (1966. Communications and relationships in the genus Tyrannus.Publ. Nuttall Ornithol. Cl. 6), but the pattern of the songs is not typical for that described by these authors and this cut was said to be recorded well after dawn. There are also several series of "Repeated Vocalizations" (e.g., 0:25-0:37, 1:14-1:21, 2:05-2:12) and one "Incipient Locomotory Hesitance Vocalization" at (3:49). Quality changed from 1 to 1-2 - CAM - 7 January 2005]
