NOTES: 42 songs of BIRD #2 recorded at 18:23:41; I reached the bird at 18:07:25, after walking directly to it following my recording of cut #99-123-04; the time on the previous cut gives an indication when this bird began singing (18:04); I missed about ten songs getting onto the bird; the unseen bird was 25-30 meters up overhead, and 30-35 meters away in sunlit tree; recorded about 50 meters into forest on north side of road to house and Rio Barra Seca, about 250 meters short of Estrada do Gave¿ [19¡ 04Õ 21" S, 39¡, 53Õ 47" W]; mostly clear, intermittent breeze (dying down), 84¡ F; cut continues onto next reel as cut #99-124-01.

ML: Subject changed from recordist's original identification of Xiphorhynchus guttatus guttatus to Xiphorhynchus guttatus [guttatus Group] to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015.
