    Equipment Note

NOTES: Bird was singing from high up (25-30 meters above ground) in a tall tree; response to tape playback of itself was a silent approach right up overhead, and later song; loosely associated with a mixed-species flock; recorded in low-stature forest along NW edge of reserve towards the north end of the perimetral road (3 1/2-4 km. NE of road into the Sooretama Reserve) at the same spot where I previously recorded Myiarchus tuberculifer (#99-122-07 Ð this bird is in background of that cut); partly cloudy, intermittently breezy, 91¡ F.
