NOTES: Soft calls of flock members; birds were well seen at very close range sitting in undergrowth along road; largely motionless and quiet, giving only soft, twittering calls; three birds seen at once, with bird on axis only 8 meters from me, and 4-6 meters off the ground on exposed perches; the bird generally raised its tail when it called, but no other actions noted; at least one of the birds appeared to be an immature, with a shorter, more noticeably orange bill, and some wash of orange in the forehead; recorded at sharp "L"-curve in perimetral road about 300 meters south of the short extension leading to Estrada do Aderne; partly cloudy, intermittently breezy, 86¡ F.
