NOTES: 73 songs and two long calls of BIRD #4 recorded in two parts at 5:40:28 and 6:00:42; bird began today with a long call at 5:35:57 am, with this cut beginning at 5:36:50 am; the first song on tape was the birdÕs third song; I had a bad angle relative to insects at first, even though the bird was only 30-35 meters away in a large tree on the north side of the road; after a brief part in which the bird never sang (NOT COPIED), the third part began at 5:50:11 am, with the bird back on the north side of the road after it had been way in on south side of the road for the second part; it was 50-60 meters west of where it had been, 35-40 meters away from me, and 30 meters up; it moved again at 6:00:42 am, after which, I missed 13 songs getting back onto it before the brief last part (when it was 45 meters away and 25 meters up on the south side of the road); this cut contains two long calls from the singing bird and one from a second bird; recorded along NW edge of reserve on south side of perimetral road, 300 meters NE of road into the Sooretama Reserve [19¡ 04Õ 22" S, 39¡ 57Õ 06" W]; rain before dawn; (9/12//32/18/2 Ð single slash indicates movement, double indicates break in tape).
