NOTES: 46 songs of BIRD #2 recorded at 6:29:45 as a continuation of cut #99-106-02, after I missed 7 songs changing tape (previous cut ended at 6:14:28 am, and this one began at 6:17:00 am); bird was 35 meters away and 30 meters up in the same spot where it was at the end of the previous cut; recorded about 300 meters short of Estrada do Gave¿ on north side of road to house and Rio Barra Seca [19¡ 04Õ 21" S, 39¡, 53Õ 47" W]; I believe that the bird first sang at 5:36 am, when a very distant song was given; it then took me nearly 10 minutes to get onto the bird, in part, because it moved around more often and further than usual; a second bird gave a few long-calls during this cut; I missed a single song after the recorder was turned off; full, dense overcast; 76 ¡F; contains an internal announcement.

ML: Subject changed from recordist's original identification of Xiphorhynchus guttatus guttatus to Xiphorhynchus guttatus [guttatus Group] to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015.
