NOTES: Recorded near marker #23, right in the same area where seen the previous day (presumably the same birds); associated with a mixed-species flock in good, terra firme forest; one member of the apparent pair (one bird singing, the other calling) was again seen relatively well; when recorded, the birds were in mid-levels about 10 meters up; the singing bird was about 30 meters away, the calling bird only 20 meters from me; when seen, the bird was moving slowly, 12-15 meters up in vine tangles; birds became agitated and called in response to tape playback, but no apparent approach; one of the birds was last seen being chased off by a raptor, possibly a small Micrastur or Accipiter; clouds breaking up to clear but hazy skies; calm; 83-84¡ F.
