NOTES: 33 songs of bird #5 beginning at 5:15:49 after bird began at 5:12:14 followed by the first of five songs at 5:13:41 before going quiet; the first song on tape was the third after bird began singing again, initially 30-35 m away, later 25 m almost directly overhead; back on again at 5:23:49 after a brief break for a loud cicada; bird moved little through this cut; bird sang little for several days before this and insects were quite bad after the rains; as it was on previous days, bird was in large tree at edge of tree-fall gap in good, terra firme forest about 40-50 m in on north side of entrance road, 600 m E of base; clear but hazy, relatively full moon high in sky at dawn, calm, 78¡ F.
