NOTES: Song and calls at lek recorded in five parts at 9:27, 9:41, 9:45, 9:52, and 10:00; first part natural songs, then calls and songs after playback; apart from more frequent vocalizing, response to playback was minimal (no approach); more agitated vocalizations at end did not appear to be due to playback; unseen birds were probably 25-30 m away for first three parts but 18 for last two; initially 3-5 m up, later 8 m up; two or more birds were present; birds seemed to be relatively far apart when singing, but much closer to each other when calling; recorded between markers #25 & 26 on loop trail in good, terra firme forest with relatively open understory and mid-levels; full overcast, calm, 83-84¡ F.
