NOTES: Calls and tapping, the tapping bird was seen, the calling bird was not (at least when recorded, but two birds were seen both previously and after cut was recorded); apparently an adult and a juvenile foraging 6 m away and 4 m up (just over eye-level in trees down slope) near edge of base clearing in loose association with a mixed-species flock; adult was tapping on a slim, dead stem amid dense vine tangles; both birds later seen creeping around with wings drooped and tail spread; cloudy to east, partly cloudy to west, slight breeze at times, 82-83¡ F.
