NOTES: Recorded in three parts at 7:10, 7:13, and 7:19; unseen bird was initially 10-15 m away and low in dense undergrowth along logging road, 1.8-1.85 km. W of highway; though initially quite low (1-2 m up), bird moved along vine tangles up a tree to 5-6 m above ground and 8-10 m away; bird was foraging and moving around quite a bit; seen following approach in response to playback; it also began singing (in latter part of cut, when dropping and moving back to 8-15 m from me); clear, calm, 80-82¡ F.
