NOTES: Songs of birds #1 & 4 beginning at 5:16:10 but off briefly at 5:18:25; two unseen birds singing, neither on axis for most of this cut, and probably 60-70 m away; this was a less than successful attempt to record the new bird just beyond bird #1 on my trail on south side of logging road, ca. 500 m W of highway; new bird sang just west of site used by bird #1 on opposite side of impenetrable second-growth scrub; it was thus almost impossible to separate the two birds that were singing in relatively close proximity to one another but neither all that close to me.
