NOTES: Recorded in two parts at 9:09 and 9:16; two or three birds recorded near marker #22 along southern loop trail; birds were seen quite well as they foraged from exposed perches in open branches of fallen tree in tree-fall gap; initially 18-20 m away, later 10-18 m away and at times as low as 8 m above ground (and never more than 20 m up); one bird sang before recording began but only calls included here; one bird sallied out and returned to same perch but often moved about when flycatching; mixed-species flock initially in area but these birds remained after flock had departed; one bird seen to bob its tail when it called; partly cloudy, mostly calm but a slight breeze at times, 85¡ F.
