NOTES: Calls of at least two, and possibly 3-4 birds recorded along logging road 1.1-1.2 km W of highway (just beyond first loop trail); at least two and possibly three or four birds, only one of which was seen 50 m away and 35 m up in top of large, leafless tree over scrubby forest; mostly clear (some low clouds), calm, 76¡ F; dawn with sun not yet up.
