NOTES: Song, natural and after playback recorded in two parts, the first at 6:55 and the second at 7:08; bird was 12-15 m up overhead in dense vine tangles of very densely vegetated tree along road through generally scrubby area with much dense growth; loosely associated with a mixed-species flock; following playback bird came in silently and was well seen in mid-levels (5-6 m up), but it later began singing again; recorded along logging road 750-800 m W of highway; clear, calm, 76-77¡ F.
