NOTES: Churring calls of female. Recorded at marker #13, at second igarap¿, with birds on slope above me; south side of logging road along igarap¿ through good, terra firme forest; initially <1 meter up, but for most of cut, the bird was 8-10 meters up overhead before moving back down toward stream (when only 1-1 1/2 meters up); easily seen in relatively open growth; bird highlighted here was a female, but a second bird was also present; mostly clear, calm, 82¡ F.

LNS: Subject changed from Hypocnemis cantator to Hypocnemis striata based on location by Morton Isler. --Jay McGowan 20Aug2012
