NOTES: Flight song of same bird as cut #99RDAT02-26 after playback. Bird was now approximately 50 meters away, unseen at the time; a second bird can be heard in the background; the display consisted of the bird flying out from perch, then angling upward; at the apex of this flight it closed its wings and diving back down almost vertically before returning to level flight; the song was given right at the apex of this flight; the others with me, who have worked this site extensively, indicated that they had never before seen this display, though several birds were noted performing it at this time; full, dense overcast (fog), breeze.
