    Equipment Note

NOTES: Parabola was pointed at female of a pair for this cut; Jeremy Minns simultaneously recorded the male of this pair; though difficult to be certain, this was probably NOT the same pair as recorded in the above cut (as was suggested on tape); female was seen briefly before cut was made, both male and female seen well soon thereafter; when recorded, female was six meters away and three to four meters up in area of taller, denser cover than area occupied by previous pair; no additional playback, thus if really a different pair, then this is natural song; male described briefly (appeared slightly different than bird recorded in previous cut). These birds in taller and generally denser growth than was the par in cut #99RDAT02-18, with trees mostly 6-8 m tall with some taller.
