NOTES: Mixed-species flock with both this bird and the Terenura highlighted; in response to playback by Jeremy Minns, this bird approached aggressively down to eye level; initially 12-15 meters away and relatively high up in dense vine tangles of taller trees over generally scrubby forest; clearing skies (scattered, high clouds), upper 70s; rattle song was from the male Terenura.
