NOTES: Recorded in two parts at 5:53 and 5:57, both after playback by Jeremy Minns. First part of cut was after only limited playback by Jeremy Minns, second part after additional playback and after the bird had crossed road; bird flew back-and-froth across road until it landed on an exposed perch where it was seen well, but in relatively low light; initially 18 meters, later about 12 meters away low in dense undergrowth; when seen, bird was at eye level on exposed branch about three meters above ground on tree downslope from us; song was same in response to playback; bird has apparently been consistent at this site for quite some time; full overcast, calm, mid 70s.
