NOTES: Short calls and 17 songs recorded in three parts at 6:26, 6:31, and 6:34. Cut begins at 6:20 am, after bird began calling at 6:16 am; the bird was about 300 meters out on road through primary, terra firme forest; 20-25 meters up and 25-30 meters away; the insects were unfortunately really bad; clear, calm, mid 70s; just getting light; additional songs were given between cuts at 6:27:12 and 6:28:20; agitated songs in second and third parts of this cut, but all is natural song (no playback was done); third part of cut begins at 6:32 am. Several songs and calls overloaded.

ML: Subject changed from recordist's original identification of Xiphorhynchus guttatus guttatus to Xiphorhynchus guttatus [guttatus Group] to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015.
