NOTES: Rattle call. Bird on axis was a male seen well moving in vine tangles between three and six meters off the ground and 10 meters away; female of pair was also seen; after some "spishing," which may have attracted bird slightly, but generally a natural recording; birds were among mixed-species flock in good, terra firme forest along forest trail almost 1 km. north of sede (headquarters) clearing, in an area with much bamboo and many vine tangles; partly cloudy, calm, 78¡ F. Some calls overloaded.
