NOTES: After additional whistling by me, the same male recorded in cut #99-13-02 continued down slope and eventually crossed the road and began climbing up tree on far side until it began singing from vegetation about eye level on tree downslope (probably 10-15 meters above ground level in tree); when seen, bird came out of undergrowth and perched in the open in bamboo with its crest erected (the interscapular patch was not flared); unseen when recorded; intermittent breeze, otherwise conditions same.
