NOTES: Bird was along the main road about 2/3 of the way from the entrance to the forest and the coffee plantation on the far side of the fragment; vocalizing bird was about 55 meters away and 45 meters up in top of one of the tallest trees around over generally better, but still somewhat scrubby, forest; one bird of an apparent family group of three or four birds was seen and was an adult (though not necessarily the bird that was vocalizing); partly cloudy, calm, 72¡ F; 18¡23Õ12" S, 39¡50Õ43" W.

ML: Background subject changed from recordist's original identification of Vireo olivaceus chivi to Vireo olivaceus chivi/diversus to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015.
