    Equipment Note

NOTES: Two singing males at an apparent lek; this was not the same individual recorded previous day (cut #99RDAT1-04), but it was the same lek; bird was in view in vines along a Cecropia tree eight to ten meters (3/4) up and about ten meters away along road through forest fragment; bird was only eight to ten meters overhead for latter part of cut (after internal announcement); though I could not be certain, it is likely that bird in background was same bird recorded in cut #99RDAT1-04; partly cloudy, calm, 80 ¡ F. Identification tentatively confirmed from tape by Kevin J. Zimmer.
