Bird was 12 meters away on open, dead twig about 2/3 up small tree at edge of small clearing, apparently over a draw with a small stream (along road through forest fragment); bird had a white chin, a black tail, and a bright-red bill; clear, calm, 74 ¡ F. Identification tentatively confirmed from tape by Kevin J. Zimmer.
