NOTES: Initially copied as LNS #98886, but digitized as LNS #113146. Male was well seen after approach in response to playback, and is described briefly on tape; when seen, the bird was 2 to 4 meters up in undergrowth / mid-levels of campinarana near tree-fall gap; bird perched on relatively exposed, horizontal branches in moderately open undergrowth; 12-18 meters away, but moving around a bit; more or less same song, possibly with a few additional notes added and approach in response to playback; no interscapular patch was ever evident; seemingly a small, mixed-species flock, at least at first; clouded up a bit by this time.
