NOTES: HHb filters in cut position; attenuators off on both recorder and microphone; same bird as above cut with presumed mate in background after minimal playback of itself (three songs); playback response was approach and a similar song, though possibly with a shorter intersong interval (bird also gave two calls when it initially came in); male was well seen, second bird was unseen; bird was off grid 30-40 meters S of intersection of trails K and 7S (350 meters); when this cut was recorded bird was four meters up generally perched in one spot wagging its tail back-and-forth; at edge of tree-fall gap within good, terra firme forest; sun was in trees by this time; NOTE: left channel drops out.
