NOTES: HHb filters in cut position; attenuators off on both recorder and microphone; recorded along Trail E, between 200 and 250 meters S of Principal Trail; bird was 2-3 meters up in very dense undergrowth along a ravine near a small streambed in which there were scattered, small puddles remaining; although a female Pipra pipra was seen in the immediate vicinity, I do not believe that this call was given by that bird; Mario Cohn-Haft tenatively concurred with identification after listening to tape; sun low on horizon, but still hitting treetops.
