NOTES: Along roadside adjacent to railroad right-of-way; bird was in low scrub at edge of second-growth, 100-150 meters from lodge entrance; for this recording the bird was in a bush about three meters tall and later one about two meters tall, the latter with small purple flowers; one meter up, four to six meters away; well seen eventually, and both birds (possibly a pair, if not an adult/immature) later collected by MCH
