NOTES: Calls after playback. In mid to upper levels of trees at apparent border between good, terra firme forest and old second-growth right at ridgeline above lodge; 25 meters up overhead; unseen at this time; these calls were given after repeated playback by MCH and after a male of this species was collected; because we saw both a male and a female together in this same area a few minutes later, however, it is possible that these calls were not given by the female of the pair; female seen had a relatively bright, peach wash to the breast; clear, calm, low 70s.
