Balaenoptera acutorostrata thump train heard beginning approximately 27 minutes in, and again in last several minutes of recording. 11Sep2003 SAS. Reel notes: "0853-0944. 10 Feb 1973. Navidad Bank. Good chorus humps close. Several groups of 3s + 4s as well as individuals and pairs around this stop, within 1/2 mile of us at start of tape. We hear the chorus very good. Voice comments from fly bridge on channel 2. Little better than 1/2 way thru tape we hear a long train of thumps. Alerted all sta to look for a Minke Whale."
