NOTES: I wonder if this could be a call from a female Cercomacra nigrescens. I made mention of this call coming from a "fairly rufous bird," which means that C. nigrescens female is at least a possibility. This bird was recorded during a confusing situation (at least for me). Birds present in the area at the time of this recording included two Piaya cayana, a singing Cercomacra nigrescens, a vocalizing Capsiempis flaveola, and probably more.
