NOTES: (Breeding Status: Territorial. General Climate: Cyclic wet-dry. Cover Density: Medium. Temp: 60s) [Roughly 30 songs or song fragments with two or three different introductions. All songs before 0:47 have the same introduction, but those after 1:27 are different. Two of these introductions are shared by songs in LNS #106600, 106601, and 107537, all recorded this same day, but some apparently at different site(s). In addition to the songs, there are "Chunk" Calls at 0:57, 1:01-1:04 (3), and 5:02, and "Buzz" Calls at 1:10, 4:00-4:02, 4:21, 4:31, 4:32, 4:37, and 5:04-5:05. I am not sure if the notes at 2:39, 3:34, and 3:42 represent calls or song fragments because they match the introductory notes of some songs. The "check" calls at 2:45, 2:49, 2:57, 3:00, 3:15, 3:19, and 3:23 appear to have been given by Agelaius phoeniceus. There is a "cryptic" stop-start at 0:06. Quality added (2, 1-2) - CAM - 9 September 2005]. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Grassland, Wetland, Meadow, Pond, Pasture.
