[This recording appears to contain primarily the "Burp Call," which is best described by Cramp et al. (1977. Handbook of the birds of Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa: the birds of the Western Palearctic. Vol. 1. Oxford University Press, Oxford) and shown in Fig. I on page 491. Five good examples of this call are found at the beginning of the recording (0:06-0:20 - but with an increase in gain after the first two). There are also distant examples of what may be both "burp" calls by males and "quacks" by females (0:34-0:41). The second part of the recording contains additional "burp" calls, apparently by two birds, in addition to what appears to be the "tickety-tickety-tickety" Feeding Chatter described in BNA account (1:08-1:09).
