NOTES: (Species Sound: frequent; Behavioral Context: courtship?, flock contact?; General Climate: arid; Cover Density: sparse)

BNA: Possibly the Psee-si-it call is heard followed by the male song. CZ 30/07/2004

[This recording begins with three examples of what I believe is the "keeup" call described in BNA (0:06-0:14), followed by three songs and one example of what may be a "tew" call given when the bird flew off (0:33). Both of the first two songs end with elements that appear to represent imitations of a call of Piranga ludoviciana and the second song also appears to include an imitation of the song of Contopus cooperi. Quality unchanged (2 - with an odd humm and a change in gain at 1:31) - CAM - 4 February 2005]
