NOTES: Male Amphispiza bilineata singing from song perch atop large sage brush. Bird repeatedly came to a large clump of sage brush to sing. In recording he is using another, but close by sage brush. A longer recording of this individual was made earlier on this day using a Panasonic SV-255 R-DAT recorder and a Sennheiser MS system. Recording location was made on the south extension from Rt. 205 toward Foster Flat Road, west side of Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in open slightly elevation higher dry country.
