NOTES: [Based on voice announcement and discussion and spectrograms in Cramp et al. (1983. Handbook of the birds of Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa; the birds of the Western Palearctic. Vol. 3. Oxford University Press, Oxford), it would appear that these vocalizations represent "Head-toss Calls" given by the members of a pair. Due to much variability among these calls, however, it is difficult to rule of the "Long-call Notes" and the "Kaw" Calls. I am also not sure whether the calls in the background late in the recording (e.g., 0:27-0:32 and 0-:33-0:37) represent this species. Quality added (2) - CAM - 24 March 2005]
