NOTES: Range status: NORMAL; Breeding status: UNKNOWN; Frequency of sound: AGITATED; General climate: CYCLIC WET-DRY; Cover density: THICK; THESE FORAGING NOTES, PROBABLY CHALLENGES, ARE GIVEN WHEN OTHER OF THE SAME SPECIES ARE FORAGING NEARBY. SINGLE BATTLE RECORDED. CHALLENGER VOCALIZED BUT UNDETERMINED IF CHALLENGED VOCALIZED. 8 OR MORE ADULTS. 8 ADULT(S); 4 MALE(S); 4 FEMALE(S) [The first part of this recording (0:00-0:55) represents exclusively the "Chip" Calls of BNA, but the second part contains what appears to be the "whisper Song" (1:05, 1:29, 1:34, 1:48). I am unsure whether the high, thin "seep" notes at 1:115, 1:16, 1:195, 1:225, and 1:27 were given by this species, but I suspect the similar calls at 1:42-1:45 were probably given by an oscine. All times taken from beginning of recording as measured from species reel. Quality changed from 2-3 to 1-2, 2 (though some of these vocalizations appear to be overloaded) - CAM - 5 May 2005]. Other Behaviors: Fight. Habitat: Park/Campus/Cemetery, Cloudforest.
