NOTES: Unseen, from within reeds next to dike. Some vocalizations could be Coot and Common Moorhen. Splashing is from Coots. Two Purple Gallinules seen over two days in this small reed patch.

[These appear to represent mostly the "Gheeek!" Call described in BNA account (though not really as Limpkin-like as can be the case), but there are also several series of what appear to be "Cackles" (e.g., 0:16-0:27, 2:12-2:14). The series at 2:29-2:33 represents either a "Grunt" or an atypical Cackle. There are definitely calls of Fulica americana in here as well.
