Observation details
It was easy to find the continuing Common Redpoll flock because of all the birders looking for them. I saw them just after 11 am when they were near a small dock. I got to see them coming down to drink at the lake shore. I could see no Pine Siskins with them or nearby. The bright red crowns, the black around the beak and big finchy tails are very distinctive. They continued to eat Birch Seeds despite all the people.
