These 3 photos were all taken over Trinity Bay as seen from the Kemah boardwalk near Landry's seafood. The time stamp is off by one hour.
Observation details
At around 1:40, the Gemini Twins (the original finders) located the small gull with the distinctive M pattern on its back and pointed it out to 6 other birders who were there at the time. It was flying out over Trinity Bay as seen from the Kemah boardwalk. At one point it flew up the channel and into Harris County, and over the corner of the Kemah boardwalk where we stood. It was a very small gull with the clear M pattern on the back, brownish toward the center, and black tail tip, very slightly forked. Juvenile.
