Observation details
The continuing bird. I never heard it. Even when a Bald Eagle flew low over the middle impoundment and flushed it. The wind made it difficult to hear. Plus the bird was not that close. This bird was originally found by Jim Schill yesterday. He got excellent recordings of the bird - the vocalization is the best id point for me. It's obviously not a bird to be called on structure - which I dislike anyway. The bird was dark. And the pics show the dark-centered scaps and the gray neck and breast. A SB Dow would be paler with white fringed coverts.
