Observation details
A pleasant surprise after Michael commented on the remote possibility of finding one, but credit to him for actually spotting it. Relatively close for scope range but a bit borderline for good photos. Active peep with rufous stripe on scapulars, dark legs, dark longish bill, and chevron marks on breast and flanks. We watched it for a good 20 minutes before the crop duster drove most of the shorebirds away and into the WPA.
