Observation details
*Rare; but not entirely unexpected. Had off the tip flying east and only saw it for a few seconds before it disappeared into the fog. Poor looks and ID based solely off of photos. Large LAGU sized tern and separated from CATE by longer and less heavy bill and paler and more white undersides of the outer primaries. Several ROYT reports from Rhode Island, Nantucket, and Race Point in the past few days as well.
