Observation details
At 718 I heard a higher pitched call that was definitely a Myiarchus flycatcher but wasn't clearly an ash throated. Came from low bush about 5 feet off ground. Call sounded agitated and then bird flushed along with another bird as they had a territorial dispute. Tried to put bins and camera on bird, and took several quick photos of two flycatchers in tree before they disappeared. Made sound recordings of probable NUFLY and sent to Lauren several days after visit and she confirmed the call. Once I settled into a wifi spot in CA I reviewed all photos and audio and confirmed it. Great learning opportunity!
