Observation details

At dusk on entrance road in first grassland beyond the white sand scrub after the gate as you leave Rio Azul. I played a recording randomly, not really expecting a response, but it was almost immediate. We walked 50 meters out into the grass and one of the two birds came to within 50 cm of me; I saw its face poke out of the grass, but never got looks at the whole bird. We also saw one bird make a very short flight above the grass when I shone my laser pointer over it to get the others to look in the right direction. Guessing in Google Earth, I'd say the coordinates are -9.246024°, -55.998988°
